Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a 360 Excavator GPS Operator with NG Persnons and HSG47 to work on a major national grid project in .
This role is on behalf of a leading UK construction and plant hire specialist supporting major infrastructure, civil engineering, and construction projects. The business is recognised for its experienced workforce, extensive plant capabilities, and strong focus on safety and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for operating a 360 excavator using GPS machine control, carrying out earthworks safely and accurately in accordance with site requirements.
Duties Will Include:
- Operating a 360 excavator using GPS machine control systems
- Carrying out earthworks including excavation, grading, trimming, and levelling
- Working accurately to GPS models, line, and level
- Excavating and preparing ground for construction activities
- Moving and placing materials around site
- Carrying out backfilling and formation works where required
- Working closely with groundworkers, engineers, and site supervisors
- Carrying out daily machine inspections and reporting any defects
- Maintaining safe and efficient operation of the machine
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
