Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a local Yardman to work on a project in Bristol.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major highways, civil engineering, and urban development projects nationwide. The company is widely recognised for its involvement in large-scale transport and public realm schemes, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.
You will be responsible for managing yard operations and supporting site logistics, ensuring materials and equipment are handled efficiently and safely.
Duties Will Include:
- Setting up and maintaining the site compound
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Recording and tracking materials coming in and out of site
- Operating a telehandler as required
- Carrying out slinger/signaller duties for deliveries and lifts
- Ensuring safe storage and organisation of materials
- Supporting general site logistics and operations
- Maintaining a clean and orderly yard environment
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
