Salary: £22.00 per hour
Hours: 07:30-17:00, Overtime available
Start date: Beginning of January 2025
Type: Temporary Employment- Up to 2 Years Work
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo (Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller).
- Safety Critical Medical (SC Medical).
- Must be able to pass DBS (criminality background check)
Foundation Personnel are seeking Groundworkers with forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller tickets to be part of a civils gang for a civil engineering project in Newton Abbot, Devon. The client is a well-respected contractor delivering high-standard infrastructure projects across the UK. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with various civil works, including earthmoving, drainage, and surfacing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller as required on site.
- Assist in general groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, and foundations.
- Ensure all work is completed to project specifications and safety standards.
- Work closely with other team members and follow site supervisor’s instructions.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) card is essential.
- Experience operating forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller on civil engineering projects.
- Safety Critical Medical is required.
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker in the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
