Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for Groundworkers for ongoing works on a busy construction project.
This role is on behalf of a leading UK civil engineering and utilities contractor delivering major infrastructure and environmental projects across the country. The company is known for its strong presence on large-scale frameworks, expertise in earthworks and reinstatement, and commitment to safety, sustainability, and high-quality delivery.
Duties will include:
- Installing small runs of drainage and ducting to specification and site drawings
- Excavating trenches and preparing foundations for drainage and utility installations
- Assisting with pipe laying, backfilling, and reinstatement works
- Carrying out general groundworks including kerbing, edging, and concreting where required
- Operating Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller machinery safely and efficiently across site
- Supporting earthworks and site preparation activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure works are completed to programme and standard
Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role and hold valid CPCS or NPORS tickets for Dumper and Roller work.
