Position: Topman
Location: HS2 Project (Location TBC)
Project: HS2 – Utilities / Drainage
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00
Duration: 4–5 Months
Salary or Pay Rate: £220 per day
Requirements:
- EUSR Water or Gas
- Confined Spaces
- Safety Critical Medical
- BBV Induction (essential)
- Full orange PPE
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside pipelayers in trench support operations
- Assisting with pipe installation, alignment and jointing
- Supporting excavation works up to 3.5m deep
- Maintaining safe access/egress and trench safety
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with HS2 standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Topman on utilities or drainage projects
- Strong understanding of trench work and confined spaces
- Ability to work safely in deep excavations
- Previous HS2 or major infrastructure experience preferred
