Position: Site Manager
Location: A47, Cambridgeshire
Project: Earthworks (RoadworksProject)
Hours: 7AM to 5PM (Potentially 7 to 7)
Duration: Long Term Work
Salary or Pay Rate: £270 Per Shift
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join the major A47 infrastructure project, offering a long run of work for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a position on a high-profile job, overseeing large-scale bulk earthworks operations with consistent workload and strong site continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations on bulk earthworks packages
- Managing plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure programme targets are met
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with HSE regulations
- Coordinating with engineers, planners, and senior management
- Maintaining site records, RAMS, and permits
- Driving productivity while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on bulk earthworks projects
- Valid CSCS Gold Card
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage large teams and heavy plant operations
- Excellent understanding of health & safety and site compliance
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
