Site Engineer
Position: Marine Piling Engineer
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, London
Project: Marine Piling, Sheet Piling
Duration: On going
Salary £30 per hour, plus £100 per week travel plus £50.65 per night lodge
Qualifications and Experience: Must have a solid background in Marine Piling Engineering
We are seeking a skilled Marine Piling Engineer to support the design and delivery of nearshore piling works for a marine infrastructure project in Sunbury-on-Thames.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and specification of marine piling systems

Prepare method statements, technical documentation, and risk assessments

Oversee on-site pile installation and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations

Coordinate pile driving logs, site surveys, and testing procedures (e.g. dynamic load, ultrasonic)

Support quality assurance, record keeping, and as-built documentation

Work closely with contractors, divers, surveyors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth execution
Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential

Experience in marine piling or heavy civil engineering (nearshore/offshore)

Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, pile design, and marine construction methods

Familiarity with pile driving analysis tools (e.g. PDA, CAPWAP) is advantageous

Valid CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
