Site Engineer
Position: Site Engineer
Location: Cheshire (Tatton Services, M56 Junction 8, WA14 3SB)
Project: New Service Station Development
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30
Duration: 18 months
Salary or Pay Rate: Up to £50,000 (CIS / contract option available)
Requirements:
-
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Site Engineer on civils projects
-
Valid CSCS Card
-
Strong background in earthworks, drainage, directional drilling, Section 278 works, and street lighting
-
Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning, layout, and supervision of site activities

Prepare, review, and check drawings, setting-out plans, and technical documentation

Monitor site progress and quality to ensure works are delivered to specification

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical issues

Assist with reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager on progress and site performance

Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with regulations
Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within civils or highways environments

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
