Foundation Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Joiner to work on an ongoing civils project in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable candidate with a strong background in construction and site-based joinery work.
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to work on a long-term civil engineering project in Edinburgh. The role will involve working on reinforced concrete structures and formwork systems within a fast-paced civils environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Formwork installation and dismantling
- Working on reinforced concrete (RC) structures
- Constructing columns, slabs, and concrete frames
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with site requirements
- Working safely as part of a civils construction team
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Shuttering Carpenter
- Own tools required
- IPAF licence (bonus / advantageous)
- Strong experience in formwork, RC, and concrete frame works
- Ability to work independently or within a team
