Location: Peterborough Based Company (Hybrid Role)
Project: Reinforced Concrete
Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30PM
Duration: Permanent Contract
Salary or Pay Rate: £NEG
Foundation Personnel are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on Reinforced Concrete works. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring proven leadership across complex programmes involving civils, groundworks, and utilities.
You will have overall responsibility for site performance, programme delivery, health & safety, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging schemes.
Key Responsibilities

Overall management of site operations from pre-construction through to completion

Leading Construction Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors

Managing and coordinating reinforced concrete packages, including formwork, rebar, and concrete pours

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to quality standards

Driving a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across site

Liaising with clients, designers, local authorities, and senior stakeholders

Managing subcontractor performance, procurement, sequencing, and interfaces

Overseeing civils, groundworks, and utilities activities across site

Reporting progress, risks, and programme updates to senior leadership
Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on large-scale projects

Essential experience delivering reinforced concrete structures

Strong background in construction with civils, groundworks, and utilities experience highly advantageous

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid (essential)

Strong understanding of construction programmes, temporary works, and commercial controls

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Ability to manage complex interfaces and high-pressure site environments
