Pipe Layer
Position: Pipelayer
Location: HS2 Project (Location TBC)
Project: HS2 – Utilities / Drainage
Hours: 07:00 – 17:00
Duration: 4–5 Months
Salary or Pay Rate: £240 per day
Requirements:
- EUSR Water
- Confined Spaces
- Safety Critical Medical
- BBV Induction (essential)
- Full orange PPE
Key Responsibilities:
- Laying pipes for utilities and drainage systems
- Working in trenches up to 3.5m deep
- Assisting with installation of ducts and pipework
- Supporting excavation and backfilling activities
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a pipelayer on utilities or civils projects
- Experience working with deep drainage and trenching
- Ability to read drawings and follow site instructions
- Previous HS2 or major infrastructure experience preferred
