Security Operative / Gateman (SIA & CSCS)

High-profile, long-term project supporting major UK infrastructure works.

Full-time
48–60 hours per week
Day shifts available
Night shifts available with enhanced rate
Duration:
Long-term opportunity w(Multi Year Assignment)
Salary or Pay Rate:
£14.64 per hour (PAYE)
£19.47 per hour (Night Shift Rate)
Holiday pay accrued

Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence (essential)

Valid CSCS Card (essential)

Previous construction site experience preferred
-
Traffic Marshal / Plant & Vehicle Marshal (NPORS or CPCS) desirable

Strong communication skills
-
Professional and presentable appearance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable transport beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
-
Control site access and egress, ensuring only authorised personnel enter site
-
Operate barriers and manage deliveries
-
Conduct visitor sign-in procedures and maintain accurate site records
-
Monitor CCTV and carry out routine patrols
-
Direct vehicles and plant safely within site boundaries
-
Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times
-
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents

Support overall site safety and compliance procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Valid SIA Licence
-
Valid CSCS Card
-
5 years checkable work history
-
Previous Security / Gateman experience advantageous
-
Experience working on construction or civil engineering projects preferred
-
Traffic Marshal certification advantageous

Basic IT skills beneficial
