Foundation Personnel are seeking a Crane / Lifting Operations Supervisor for a project in York, North Yorkshire. The role involves overseeing crane and lifting operations on site, particularly with a crawler crane, as well as assisting with other site activities when needed. The client is a respected name in the tunnelling and civil engineering sector, known for their expertise in delivering complex projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all crane and lifting operations on site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the team to manage the setup and positioning of the crawler crane.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections of equipment before and during operations.
- Assist with general site tasks, supporting the team as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to lifting operations.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Blue CPCS card for Crane / Lifting Operations Supervisor.
- Proven experience in managing lifting operations, particularly with crawler cranes.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and lifting regulations.
- Ability to work well within a team and support other site activities.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
