Position: Confined Space Operative
Location: Hinkley (Leicestershire)
Project: Tunnelling / Civils
Hours: 07:30 – 17:30
Duration: 2+ Weeks
Pay Rate: £240 Per Day
Key Responsibilities: Working at the top of the shaft whilst the client works on a small tunnel.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid CSCS and Confined Space – High Risk and Rescue Cert
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Confined space operative with tunnelling background to join our client on a long-term project with an immediate start available
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable operative who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as or support the top man / banksman when required, maintaining clear communication with personnel inside the shaft.

Follow and comply with permit-to-work systems and confined space entry procedures.

Maintain clear communication with supervisors, engineers, and rescue teams at all times.

Assist in emergency situations and be prepared to follow the confined space rescue plan.

Implementing and maintaining exclusion zones around the shaft top.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
