Slinger Signaller (ITS)
Position: Slinger Sginaller
Location: Guildford
Project: Water Treatment Site
Hours: 7:30AM to 5:30PM
Duration: 6 Months +
Salary or Pay Rate: £21 Per Hour
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger Signaller to join a busy Water Treatment project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operative with experience working around lifting operations and heavy plant within the civil engineering, utilities, or water sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and control lifting operations safely and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with crane operators and plant operators using approved signalling methods.
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with site safety procedures and lift plans.
- Assist with the safe movement of materials, equipment, and plant around site.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times.
- Work closely with site management, lifting teams, and other operatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CPCS A40 Slinger Signaller or NPORS Slinger Signaller (with CSCS logo).
- Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or water treatment projects.
- Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.

- Thames Water Passport
- Safety Critical Medical
- Confined Spaces Awareness
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card
- Relevant site experience within water treatment or utility environments
Thames Water Pass
A valid Thames Water Pass would be advantageous; however, this can be arranged for the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary experience, attitude, and commitment to working safely within the water industry.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
Candidates must be able to provide x2 Working References.
