About the Company:
Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a long-term civils project based in Burgess Hill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently on a busy civils site
- Carrying out deep drainage excavation works up to 3.5m deep
- Excavating around existing services and infrastructure with precision and care
- Working in and around pre-existing manholes and drainage systems
- Supporting the installation and maintenance of drainage runs, chambers, and pipework
- Working alongside groundworkers, pipe layers, and supervisors as part of an established drainage gang
- Assisting with trench box installation, positioning, and safe excavation practices
- Maintaining safe working areas in accordance with site and health & safety regulations
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects immediately
- Ensuring all work is completed to programme and site specification standards
This role is ideal for an experienced operator with a strong background in deep drainage and civils works who is confident working in tight environments and as part of a productive site team.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test at induction, carried out by our end client, as part of their health and safety procedures
