Foundation Personnel are currently recruiting for a 360 Excavator Operator to work as part of a civils gang on a live project located inside a prison in Newmarket, Suffolk.

This role is on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong presence across major infrastructure and secure-environment projects. They are known for delivering high-quality civils works while maintaining strict safety, security, and compliance standards.

You will be involved in all aspects of civil engineering works, working closely with groundworkers and supervisors within a controlled, high-security environment.

Duties Will Include:

• Operating a 360 excavator as part of a civils gang

• Assisting with drainage, ducting, foundations, and general civils works

• Carrying out lifting operations in line with approved lift plans

• Supporting groundworks when required

• Working safely within a secure prison environment

• Completing daily machine checks and defect reporting

• Maintaining high health & safety and security standards on site

Requirements:

• Valid Blue CPCS 360 Excavator

• Lifting Operations endorsement

• In-date Safety Critical Medical

• EL1 Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

• Previous experience in civils and groundworks projects

• Comfortable working in secure or restricted environments

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
