Hours: 07:00 – 18:00

Foundation Personnel are currently looking for a Ride-On Roller Operator to work on a major earthworks project in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. This role is on behalf of a well-established earthworks and civil engineering contractor known for delivering large-scale bulk earthworks and infrastructure schemes across the UK, with a strong reputation for safety, quality, and efficient site operations.
You will be working as part of an earthworks team carrying out compaction works across haul roads, platforms, and formation levels.
Duties Will Include:

Operating a ride-on roller on earthworks duties

Compacting fill, stone, and formation layers

Supporting bulk earthworks and muck shifting operations

Working alongside dump trucks, dozers, and excavators

Carrying out daily machine checks and defect reporting

Maintaining high health & safety standards on site
Requirements:

Valid Blue CPCS or NPORS (CSCS logo)

In-date Safety Critical Medical

Proven experience operating rollers on earthworks projects

Strong understanding of compaction and formation works

Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
