Previous experience working as a Storeman
We are currently recruiting a Storeman for a civils project in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. You’ll be working with a well-established infrastructure contractor known for delivering major highways and civil engineering projects across the UK, with a strong focus on organisation, safety, and efficient site operations.
Role Responsibilities:

Managing the site compound, including materials in and out

Controlling deliveries and coordinating unloading/loading

Material handling using the telehandler

Keeping accurate records of stock and materials

Ensuring the compound is kept tidy, safe, and well organised

Communicating effectively with site management, operatives, and suppliers
Requirements & Experience:

Proven experience as a Storeman on civils or construction sites

Valid Telehandler ticket
-
Good material and stock control knowledge
-
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
-
Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
