Position: Site Manager

Location: Hampton, London

Project: Sheet Piling / Marine Piling

Duration: Long term

Salary or Pay Rate: £35 per hour + travel and lodge

Qualifications and Experience: sheet piling with a Movax on pontoon units, concrete work, composite capping beam installation.

Core Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage site-specific work programmes and method statements.

• Coordinate piling works with other trades and marine operations.

2. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and marine safety standards.

• Conduct site inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

3. Site Supervision

• Oversee daily operations, including equipment setup and piling activities.

• Monitor quality, productivity, and adherence to specifications.

4. Stakeholder Communication

• Liaise with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

• Report progress, issues, and updates to project management.

5. Resource Management

• Manage labour, plant, and materials efficiently.

• Maintain accurate site records (daily logs, delivery notes, permits).

6. Quality Assurance

• Inspect works for compliance with technical drawings and tolerances.

• Implement corrective actions where necessary.

7. Environmental Protection

• Mitigate impact on marine and surrounding environments.

• Manage waste and prevent contamination.
