Duration: On Going Work.
Rate: £18 per Hour
Hours: 07:00 – 18:00

Foundation Personnel are currently looking for Concrete Operatives in Birmingham, West Midlands for major works on the HS2 project. This involves assisting with a 1000m³ concrete pour, requiring operatives who are confident working around multiple mobile concrete pumps and skilled in managing boom operations and using concrete pokers to correctly place and compact concrete into rebar structures.
The contractor delivering the works is a leading engineering and construction specialist known for delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects across the UK. They are recognised for their focus on precision, safety, planning, and delivering high-quality concrete and structural works on flagship national schemes.
Duties Will Include:

Assisting with large-volume concrete pours

Using concrete pokers to compact concrete into rebar

Working alongside multiple mobile concrete pumps

Operating around pump booms safely and efficiently

Ensuring all concrete is placed, spread, and finished correctly

Maintaining health & safety standards on a high-risk, high-activity site

Supporting the concrete gang and supervisors as required
Requirements:

Valid CSCS card
-
In-date Safety Critical Medical
-
MSite preferred (but can be arranged if needed)
-
Strong experience with large concrete pours

Ability to work safely around pump booms and heavy machinery

Previous experience on major civils or reinforced concrete projects (desirable)
