Foundation Personnel is seeking an Groundworker for a civils project in Bridgewater, Somerset. This role is with a reputable construction company known for its excellence in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, foundations, and concreting.
- Operate forward tipping dumper and roller as required on the construction site.
- Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure project timelines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assist with other site duties as required, supporting the overall civil engineering activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in civil engineering projects.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS for Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller with CSCS logo is essential.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate well with colleagues.
- Must be able to provide 2 references.
